At TappRM ("we," "us"), we keep things simple: your information is yours. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the rights you have, including under California law.
1. Information we collect
In the past 12 months we have collected the following categories of personal information:
-
Identifiers: your name and email address, when you contact us or sign up.
-
Internet activity: basic technical data such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited. Our hosting provider logs this automatically to keep the site running and secure.
We collect this information directly from you and automatically from your device when you visit the site. We do not collect sensitive personal information.
2. How we use it
We use your information only to:
-
provide and operate our service
-
respond to your messages and requests
-
keep our site secure and working properly
We do not use your information for any other purpose.
3. What we don't do
-
We do not sell your personal information.
-
We do not "share" your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, as that term is defined under California law.
-
We do not disclose your information to third parties for their own marketing.
-
We never send unsolicited emails. You'll only hear from us if you contacted us or asked to receive emails.
4. Who receives your information
We disclose information only to service providers that help us run the site (for example, our web hosting provider). They may use it only to provide services to us. We may also disclose information if required by law.
5. How long we keep it
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above, or as required by law, and then delete it.
6. Your California privacy rights
If you are a California resident, you have the right to:
-
Know what personal information we have collected about you, where it came from, why we collected it, and who we disclosed it to
-
Access a copy of your personal information
-
Delete your personal information
-
Correct inaccurate personal information
-
Opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information (we don't do either, but you still have this right)
-
Not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights
7. How to exercise your rights
Email us at [your email] with "Privacy Request" in the subject line. We will verify your identity by confirming details we already have, such as your email address, and will respond within 45 days. You may also use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf; we may ask for proof of their authorization.
8. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
We do not track you across other websites. We treat Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals as a valid request to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, although we do neither. Because we don't track users over time or across sites, our practices are the same whether or not your browser sends a "Do Not Track" signal.
9. Children
Our site is not intended for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
10. Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your information from unauthorized access, loss, or misuse.
11. Changes to this policy
We review this policy at least once a year. If we change it, we'll post the new version here with an updated effective date.
